I'm thinking about getting a pet for me and my girlfriend. We're both good with animals and have plenty of experience with animals in general. Not reptiles specifically but i'll learn.
I'm mainly considering a snake.
Just wondering what some of the monthy costs are like for owning one. Do snakes have to go to the vet often? Food, electricity from lamps.. Stuff like that. Can exclude the price of the snake itself and the actual tank as that's a one time invest.
Might as well recommend a good starter snake if you can think of one.
