This happened a few months ago. I have two dogs, a Male Staffordshire bull terrier called lance who is 2 years old and a male rottweiler called rex who is 3. My brother Ian had been living at my house as he split up with his girlfriend and she kicked him out. Ian has always got on with my two dogs. I went to the shop and as I got home I could hear extremely loud screams and crys of agony. I rushed in and ian was on the floor covered in blood where lance had attacked him. Lance had ripped his trousers and pants apart and had bitten ian in the genitals and did not let go. Rex was just standing there about 2 meters away and just watched. Rex did not bark or growl or move at all. I had to throw the washing up bowl over lance to get him off as nothing else worked. I barricaded lance in the hallway and checked on ian who was still shaking in agony. Luckily there was not to much damage, the main damage was on his arms and legs. I called an ambulance and the next day I had lance put to sleep as the attack was for no reason. I have a live camera in my living room and also have CCTV outside as a few years ago my house was targeted. I watched the footage. Ian was sat on the sofa stroking rex and suddenly lance charged at ian biting him on his arms . Rex just stood back. Lance then pulled ian off the sofa and bit him all over the legs before ripping his trousers and pants apart. Lance then bit him in the genitals and did not let go. Rex just stood back again and just watched and continued to just stand and watch for the entire time. 5 minutes later I came in, but for the whole 5 mins ian was screaming and crying real loud in agony and shaking and for the whole time rex just stood there and watched. I had a dream, i had a dream that i was longer in the shop. After the 5 minutes lance started crunching up and chewing apart Ian's testicles causing very loud screams and crys of utter agony. Rex had not moved a muscle and was still just standing there watching. Lance then shook completely ripping out his testicles and rex still just stood there. I guess if I was any longer that would have happened. If it did happen would rex protect ian or just continue to just stand there and watch?
