Hi, all. I made a previous post talking about my male cat (Loki), but now I've been having another issue with my female cat Wynnifred. I found Wynnifred 4 years ago abandoned in the parking lot of a Mexican restaurant.
Wynnifred's always been a bit standoffish, never wanting anyone else to pet her or pick her up except for me. I'm well aware that cats usually tend to "pick" their humans and I accepted that I'm Wynnie's. She used to be such a sweet kitty, always sleeping by my side, rubbing against me and purring when I pet her.
But recently, after I found Loki, Wynnie's been more standoffish than usual, and even has been growling and hissing at me when I try to pet or hold her. I feel it's worth mentioning that she and Loki don't necessarily get along, they don't fight necessarily, but Wynnie has absolutely no interest in having him around.
What's going on with my cat? Could it be she's still acclimating to her new little brother? Is there something else going on? Can anyone explain this? Please, I really wanna know what's going on and how I can help her in any way?
Thank you.
