Our dog waits for my mom to come home from work everyday for hours. It's just sad because our dog does nothing but wait at the door. I can't imagine his boredom.
I'm also worried if waiting stresses our dog. Do they perceive time just how humans do? What's going on in their mind? Our dog doesn't even sleep while waiting.
