Hi all, Monday morning my 10 month yo cat was bit at the top of his tail. Our vets are only taking in life threatening cases at the moment due to coronavirus and have said I will have to treat it at home.
I have been prescribed some anti inflammatory’s and antibiotics but I am really struggling to clean the wound. His fur is stuck to the wound and as you can imagine he is not happy with me going anywhere near it. I have tried to clean it as much as possible but it has been pussing for 2 days straight now. He also has a buster collar on but I’m pretty sure he has figured out a way to get his tongue to it!
If anyone has and experience or advice then I would be very grateful! Wound is about the size of a pinky finger nail. He currently struggles to get onto the bed and can’t run anywhere, never known a cat to look so sad! Thank you!
