My cat lives with my parents, and I moved to another country 2 years ago, but I still come visit every now and then. I love my cat a lot, but my parents on the other hand, aren’t very fond of her. I’ve known for a while that they don’t like her, but I just found out recently that they low key “abuse” her, so I want her to stay with me at all times if possible. However, for some reason she hates being in my room and always wants to go back to my parent’s or somewhere else in the house.
Whenever I try to keep her in my room, she will either keep me up all night or I will wake up to a pile of shit and piss all over the floor. I understand that she’s not used to it, but I just don’t like how my parents treat her. How do I get her used to my room? Or should I even be doing that at all?
