Hello there! I am a 15 year old male, and I will be moving this summer from Oregon to New York with my mother and father. We will be moving into an apartment (unsure about size), and I wanted to have a small pet that I can interact with on a daily basis. I'm currently enrolled in high-school, and will be away from the house for at least 6-7 hours a day. Some options i've been looking over include small birds, or perhaps a hamster. I have turned to reddit for advice on the matter.
