A few days ago my aunt and I went over to my cousin’s house for dinner and we’re usually over there for three hours so we bring our dog with us. Now I’m an extremely cautious driver and I’ve never been in a car accident before ever, but this night driving back home I ended up getting into a pretty bad one. No one was hurt, but the dog was in the car with us and we were trying to hold her, but she’s a really skittish dog who won’t even walk across wood flooring because she’s scared of how it feels and she kept shaking and shaking.
So basically what happened next is my cousin came running out and was going to take the dog back to the house, but when my aunt handed her over she started scratching and biting her, then jumped out of her arms and bolted. We ran after her and we watched her run into my aunts neighborhood which just happens to be right across the street, but she was running too fast and we lost her.
It’s been three days now, and it’s like she never existed. No one in our entire city has seen her, we literally have had two search parties of about 30 people looking for her, we went door to door looking for her in people’s houses, we looked all through the nearby woods, we’ve posted fliers on every surface we could find, we’ve put it on Twitter and Facebook and it’s been shared by 300 people in our community, we’ve gone to every vet, groomer, and shelter, and she’s nowhere to be found.
At this point we think someone has to be keeping her in their house because it’s impossible that she’s anywhere else. I don’t really know what else to do so I’m kind of looking for advice ?
