Advice needed: 5 month old kitten inconsistent use of litter box

Hi guys just need some advice I'm scratching my head over this.

2 month ago we got our kitten at 3 month, and she was litter trained. Over the course of 2 month she had on and off use of the litter box. We even put 2 in the room sometimes she'll pee in one and poop in the other. Other times she'll be great for a week or two and I'll find that she peed on the carpet but pooped in the litter box.

She had upset stomach a few weeks ago and ended up having diarrhea on the carpet two of the days but used the litter box on other days.

For litter context she uses pellets as my older cat but I also mix in 30% of the wheat litter that she grew up on back at the breeder.

I've thought about just switching entirely to the breeders litter but thought I throw the question out there.

Any advice would be appreciated.
