I apologize for the dramatic title...
I have a poodle that is SIXTEEN years old. She becomes extremely anxious at night and walks in circles and because of her moderate arthritis she falls a lot and I know it must be painful because we have tiles in our bedroom. We keep her in a padded pen throughout the day. I take her out for three 15 - 20 minute walks during the day and she is on a rigid feeding / medicine schedule. I'd like to alleviate some of her night time anxiety because she never seems to be relaxed. Any advice?
She has never been the dog that lounges around. She is extremely hyper and active. But as she gets older she has trouble standing for longer periods of times and wont accept this. She'll fight the exhaustion.
