My kitty was at the vet yesterday, I was so scared and worried I would lose him....

Yesterday morning me and my SO noticed my cat acting like he was trying to go to the bathroom, and yowling in pain, this was not only strange because of the yowling, but he NEVER does not use his litter box. We called the vet and they had us bring him right in, I was so scared because I had to leave him there, and was not allowed to go in with him. I have had him for almost a decade and I love him so very much. They found out he was obstructed and fixed that. Then his vet thought it would be a good idea to do a blood panel and an x ray, luckily she did, they found that he was completely full of poop. They gave him an enema and said it came out extremely hard and full of hair, also he was low on potassium so they gave us a supplement.

He seems to be doing a lot better today, he even went poop on his own. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful vet, I really believe she saved my cats life. They are always so caring and really do everything they can for the animals in there care, I am so glad that he was able to come home last night, and I honestly dont think I ever was more relieved to spend $600. I encourage everyone that you watch your pets during this time and reach out to your vet if there is a problem. If I had not I most likely would have lost my cat. I know we are in difficult times and things are so out of whack, but I wanted to post a positive story, and mention not to keep you from calling your vet if something is wrong with an animal. I hope everyone is safe and healthy and wish you and your familys all the best in the future. I also send my most heartfelt and sincere love to all your pets and fur babies. Stay safe, stay sane and hug your animals!!! :) Thank you for taking the time to read my post! :)
