So we recently got a rescue cat and she is a little more comfortable with my roommates and I, but still timid. She sees me the most (I give her food, water, her litter box is in my room, etc) but rarely sees my one roommate. I’ll try to pet the cat, but she’ll swat at me. If my roommate comes in right after I’ve petted her she’s fine and starts purring. I take the same approach as my roommate, but she just tries to claw me. Why does she do this with just me? This is new and I can’t tell if she’s just moody or not. Advice and tips would be greatly appreciated!
