My husband and I just got out male cat neutered (8 month-ish old) today and he started licking his genitals once he was brought back home all of a sudden, he has never done this before. Really strange behavior and he was quite persistent on continuing...of course we can't really allow him to due to his surgery. Is this normal behavior?
We do have a cone, but took it off for a few minutes since he was having a hard time drinking properly with it on. But that's when he managed to sneak in doing this little thing lol.
We were also curious if anyone had any advice of what to keep on eye out for, just in case? Thanks!
