Recommendations for automated cat feeder?

I have two lovely cats, but have a couple problems I’m trying to solve:

1) One of them is a total jerk about demanding food in the morning by meowing loudly and prancing all over my fiancé and I when we’re sleeping.

2) Feeding them when we’re away for a few days.

3) They need to be fed in separate bowls, otherwise one of them eats all the food (believe it or not it’s not the one that meows at us in the morning).

Can anyone recommend a solution for these problems? The only potential solution I’ve come up with is using two automated feeders so that I can see a live log of when they have actually been fed (for peace of mind when I’m away) and they stop associating us with food so we’re not bothered in the mornings.

However, the WiFi feeders I’ve seen in my research stop working when the WiFi cuts out, which is totally unacceptable to me given the reliability of routers (what would we do if the WiFi goes out on day one of a three day trip??). Thus, I’m looking for one that saves the settings to the device itself so that it continues to work even without WiFi. Does anyone know of such a feeder? Are there any other solutions to the problems I listed? Any guidance is greatly appreciated!
