I really want pet rats. The only issue is that we have two cats, both 8 years old. They never come into my room and they haven’t hunted anything for 2 years. I read cases of cats and rats being fine with each other but my mum still doesn’t want me to have rats. Does she have a point? I think that with the right precautions and being aware during playtime would be enough. Am i wrong?
