One of my cats (almost a year old) suddenly lost a lot of energy in the span of 12 hours or so. He slept outside last night, and didn’t show up for breakfast or dinner. I searched for a while and later found him by the side of my house. I carried him inside and he walked his way to the litter box in my bathtub. He attempted to jump onto the side, but fell over backwards. I picked him up and set him in, and he was able to urinate and cover. He climbed his way out, and I picked him up and sat him on my lap. He’s currently purring as I pet him, his breathing looks normal, and I don’t see any visible signs of injury, but normally he’s got so much more energy in him. I’m assuming he has some sort of internal issue, but I was wondering if anyone has ever noticed these symptoms in their cat before and what ended up happening? I’m going to attempt to bring him into the local animal hospital and see if they can help tomorrow as well.
