I’m a California Cat Dad! I have two cats. Oly + 2sday. I’ve had Oly for 3 years and he’s healthy as a horse. Never had any issues. I purchased 2sday from someone 5 weeks ago and he has been sick since. He’s seen two different vets, has had a uri panel done, and we have determined that it’s Calicivirus. He has not responded to the doxycycline nor the amoxidrops. .the vet recommended that we change him for a 3rd time to Azithromycin. .(which he has not started yet. It’s being mailed) but he just isn’t getting better and he’s been locked in our guest bathroom since we found out that he was sick (3 days later). Oly is up to date on FVRCP however I’m still so worried so they have been separate. His upper respiratory infection is still in full effect after weeks of treatment. The seller stopped responding to me and thankfully I was refunded the entire $1900. (Thanks PayPal)I am looking forward to just getting him healthy and better but I need help. Does anyone have any suggestions? His eyes are really runny. He sneezes a lot. But he has lots of energy and he eats really well. I’m really afraid that because he’s so young and he’s been sick so long that it could effect him long term. I just want him better and I want them to be able to socialize. We definitely are keeping him we just really want him better quickly. It’s been a month on antibiotics and he only gotten a little better in a sense that I don’t have to clean his nose as much ..however he still sneezes boogers, sometimes blood. His eyes are really really watery especially the left one..and coughing. .the sneezing and watery eyes are the worst symptoms. Any advice would really help me. Thank you!!
