My girlfriend has been telling me about how she will go into a pet shop and every so often she will see a single bird who’s either being bullied or sick/dying. Maybe it’s just the town we live in but it seemed like a pattern. She’s so passionate about her birbs and loves everything about them. I was just curious if maybe this is a trick they use to sell animals based off sympathy. I know birds are very delicate but it just seems weird
I’m not trying to discourage her from getting more birds I’m just worried that they might be doing this intentionally to rip her off.
Any advice?
