I don’t know if any of these details matter but I’ll lay it all out. The cat’s litter box is in a hall closet with a cat door. About a month ago I switched to a natural litter. My cat used it right away and everything seemed normal. A week ago, I completely changed out the litter and cleaned the closet with some disinfectant. Admittedly, I had gone several days without scooping before this full cleaning. Anyways, she hasn’t used the litter box in the hall closet since. I thought maybe she didn’t like the natural litter so I went back to the old brand. I also figured she was constipated so I gave her some wet food, put the litter box in a bedroom and shut her in there for a little bit. She ate the food and went pee and poop right away. I put the litter box back in the closet and again she won’t use it. It’s been another 2 days so I put the box and her in the bedroom again and she used it right away. I really need her to use it in the closet again! Any ideas?
