Euthanize cat for behavior?

I love my cat. He's my baby! I've had him for about 6 years. I got him as a kitten on Craigslist- I think he was born on a farm, but I'm not sure. He is both indoor and outdoor; he is not allowed outside at night, but he goes outside as he pleases during the day if I'm home. Throughout his life, he's bitten A LOT. He bites unprovoked and with no warning. None of the typical warning signs (dilated eyes, flattened ears, etc) apply to him. It's as if he seeks people out to bite them. I could be in a totally different room and he'd come in, latch on, and not let go. He does this outdoors and indoors. He's bitten numerous people, not just me, with no provocation. I've tried Feliway, food puzzles, more toys, intentional playtime, a spray bottle, but nothing's worked.

He rarely hisses at people and often looks friendly and sweet. The biting (and honestly, full-body pounce-bite) comes randomly with no warning. I've looked into sanctuary farms for him but they say he's too much of a liability. I don't want to bring him to a shelter because nobody will adopt him with this behavior. It seems like my only choice is to euthanize him. Honestly, as much as I love him, it makes me feel relieved. I don't want him to bite people anymore. What should I do?
