So I found my cat when she was only about 2 weeks old, her eyes werent even fully open. I found her when I was going to college. At the time, I was depressed and she gave me so much unconditional love.
Long story short my fathers girlfriend who doesnt even live with him is allergic and he told me that the cat cant stay in his home, even though she never comes over. Its been 2 years now since I had her.
Next month I have to drive my cat up to NY where my grandmother stays, (I reside in GA). Im having a really hard time coming to the realization that I wont have her anymore. She is a very anxious cat and is so sweet but is very dependent on me. I know she is going to have hard a time adjusting to her new home and it breaks my heart.
I tried convincing my father with no luck. Im trying to find a job within my degree but I feel like Im going to fall into depression again once I have to drop off my cat. Has anybody had to give up a pet?
