I'm moving with my cat. Please give advice on what my itinerary should look like so that it will be easy on my cat.

I need to drive 10 hours to the airport (no domestic flight allows pet in cabin). I'll have to spend at least a couple nights in this city to get certain documents for my cat to fly.

Fly almost 6 hours to Incheon. I am thinking about doing a 15+ hour layover here. I can get a hotel room at the airport.

Fly 13 hours to Chicago
-
Fly almost 3 hours to destination
I am thinking about only feeding her the night before travel, during the hotel stay in Incheon, and then finally when I get to my destination. Or I can fly into Incheon and then go straight to O'Hare without doing a long layover, and then get a room in O'Hare before finishing the trip. My other option is to fly 11 hrs to San Francisco, get a room, fly 3 hrs to first domestic layover and then fly a couple hours to destination. How long should i stay at each stop? How long should i let her starve? Please don't tell me to leave her behind. I'm very attached to her ,and if she's not coming with me then I'm not going.
