I feel sort of silly asking this question but thank you in advance if anyone is able to help.
My partner and I are looking at adopting a cat that would need to be transported to our state. She seems like a really great fit for our little family and are excited to give her a loving home. Shes a little over a year old and had all her shots and is spayed.
She has to pass a check up in order to be cleared to transport - and this past week she was denied because she had a small fever. The vet did blood work on her and everything came back normal but they put her on antibiotics. They’re going to check her again next week and I’m feeling a lot of emotions hoping she’ll be healthy.
Are antibiotics usually something that can bring down fever? We were told if it doesn’t help then there is probably be a bigger issue.
I guess I’m just hoping someone can give me some straight news about this since I am kind of new to it.
Thanks everyone
