Hi, quarantine has been making me think things over. In high school I had to get rid of 2 cats I raised since they were babies as they were making my dad “sick” (we believe it was all in his head). The last time I saw them they were in a carrier and had peed all over themselves as they were so scared to be in a car and being moved. I’m still so sad about this. I don’t know what happened to them and I don’t know how to find out.
Recently I took in 2 cats (my only cats) as I found them sick and without homes in the middle of nowhere. I love them and I know they are grateful for a secure place to live (my own place) but I can’t help but feel sad about my other cats. They may be alive or dead and honestly it hurts me to not know. Has anyone gone through something like this? Please let me know I’m not the only one who feels this way years later.
