This is the weirdest thing... I gave my 7mo old puppy a piece of watermelon thinking it would be a nice snack, and he cannot figure out what to do with it. At first he pushes it around with his nose for a few minutes and whenever I try to put it in his food bowl, he runs after me, removes it, and then carries it from room to room with him. Then he sets it down next to him and just stares at it. You’d think I gave I’m a precious gemstone! I’ve tried this three times over the last two days and he behaves the same every time. He’s seen me eat it, so he should know it’s food... Any ideas what might be happening here?
