I think my cat has separation anxiety. What can I do to help her?

Almost two months ago I adopted a cat. Let me just preface this by saying that me and my family did not adopt her because we wanted company in the middle of this covid-19 situation or something similar. She was a stray cat that roamed around our street and that we grew close with and decided to keep. The pandemic had 0 effect on our choice of adopting her and she's here to stay :D

She adapted really well to being inside. Some time after classes at school stopped and my parents were forced to stop working (they own a café). For the entire month of April the three of us barely left home. They'd just go out for groceries once a week and I never left the house. In the beginning of this week they could open the café again with restrictions and are back to working, but since then our cat hasn't been feeling very well. She sometimes throws up, doesn't eat much and feels very needy. Today my mom said when she was getting ready to go to work the cat was following her around and after she left she ended up throwing up on a small carpet on our hall.

After doing some research I think she might have separation anxiety since from the time we got her we barely left her alone.

I'm not exactly sure what I can do to help her out. Any advice is welcome
