My Pomeranian is 7 and I guess I can say that I worry over him a lot. But I can't help and notice that he does breathe through his mouth a lot unless he's sleeping or focused on something and sometimes he has nights where he breathes really fast. I don't know if this is a completely new behavior because I suck at recalling details. I'm just terrified of him having a chronic disease and that I'm just sitting here letting it happen.
This heat wave isn't helping either because it causes my parents to just say that he's breathing fast because of the heat. Add on corona and our stay-at-home order until June, and they refuse to leave the house to check him up. It doesn't help that they're stingy as hell. Sometimes, I have half the mind of just taking the credit card and sneaking out with the dog. Other than the breathing, he's behaving as he normally does.
