I am looking for a healthy brand of food for my cats, and I’ve had Hill’s recommended by the shelter I got him from and by my vet. However, online I see people say that it’s a terrible brand, even though my cat loves it. I am feeding him a fully wet diet, as I know that’s the best route for long term health. Another point I’m confused about is that grain-free is far superior, but then when I look at the actual scientific studies they say that grain free isn’t objectively worse as grain-free foods use stuff like potatoes as filler instead, which are just as bad as grains. I just want to make sure I’m doing right by my little buddy!
