Okay, so, quick info about the kitten in question: face is full of phlegm since birth, weak and fragile physical structure, 2 months old, male, never been taken to a vet because of quarantine.
Now, my mom has this suggestion on making our kitten breathe easier; trap the kitten inside a box with a cup of warm water inside (warm enough to produce steam). This cup has also Vix spread onto it before filling it with warm water. I suggested to cut holes in it but she said it would be ineffective.
Please, I need help to understand this situation.
