My cat is normally very sweet; but lately she is being really grumpy. I've been furloughed so I've been at home much more than usual so maybe that has something to do with it (too much attention?).
She likes to hang out with me like normal and will really sort of follow me throughout the house. If I'm on the bed she will be on the bed, if I'm on the couch she will be on the couch and so on.
If I start to pet her she will start to growl and try to bite and attack my hand. I notice my hand seems to be her primary object of annoyance. I can pick her up and she will sometimes still snuggle up right next to me and allow her belly to be rubbed. But when I reach out to pet her too much she gets aggressive.
It's rather distressing and I'm not sure what to try.
