When we first got my big goob last year he was pretty skinny, had been abandoned/ran away before the shelter found him, so you could see his spine and ribs even when standing still and straight and even mkre so if he turned (like could fully see the indent between). He looked unhealthy, and slowly over the last year hes gained a few pounds and looks so much healthier. Hes a slender dog, but now you cant see his ribs even when he bends and its so nice. He filled out a little bit and doesnt have the eating too much issue he used to (would scarf down a whole bowl then id refill it and hed eat the next and barf tons, started only giving him a bowl-a bowl and a half a day).
I'm just so glad hes so happy and looks so good now and im glad that hes so comfortable with me and my parents and I'm just happy that hes doing so well and I love him literally more than anything ever. And hes currently sleeping at the bottom of my bed and I'm so glad that he my best buddy now.
