Simply put, I’ve been working from home, and I want to give my girlfriend’s 8-week-old kitten as much attention as I can. However, during the day, whenever I’m in my workspace (it’s a little office nook in my kitchen), she likes to come over and climb on me/my desk chair, and walk across my desk, and it’s becoming really annoying.
I have plenty of toys for her to play with scattered throughout her apartment, but she doesn’t care about the toys — she only wants my attention. And if I put her into the bathroom/my bedroom, the only closed-off areas in my apartment, she starts to meow/cry.
I don’t know what to do here. Please help.
