Sorry for short title but didn’t wanna waffle.
Both of my indoor cats have a form of upset stomach - my big one has diarrhea with brownish blood in it, and my little one is vomiting up her food.
Until recently we were introducing cat soup into their dry diet on the advice of the vet after my big cat got bladder stones. Long story short she wouldn’t touch the stuff but the little one loved it, so we kept putting it in with the dry food.
FFWD to today and the big one has let rip on the bed while we were asleep to let us know she’s not well. She’s also hiding under the dining table and her eyes are glowing, she’s not very happy. My little one who’s been throwing up is otherwise really happy. I haven’t found any evidence of worm eggs anywhere and they are solely indoor cats.
All advice seems to be “sometimes diarrhea is normal” but nothing for if both get sick? The vets aren’t open til tomorrow for advice so I’m looking to other pet owners in the meantime to see what I can do quickly while I wait for medical treatment.
