Okay so 6 days ago I took my Jack Russell terrier (rough coat) to his usual groomer . Yesterday I was trying to pat him and I noticed that there were some bumps over his back . He also kinda flinched so I realized he was in pain. Today the bumps are visible because they turned black . I searched online and found out about this post-grooming furunculosis . I got really scared . If he has it, is it life threatening? Any way to help him without the vet seeing him ? He still plays around and eats very well .
Before you ask why I didn't take him to the vet, my whole family is in quarantine because one of us has COVID-19 symptoms. Waiting for test results, so we are legally not allowed to leave the house. And in my country we don't have any vets that visit or any pet ambulance .... Thanks in advance.
