I feel so guilty writing this post because I love my cat but he was diagnosed with diabetes in March of this year. I was advised to give him insulin twice a day everyday after his meals. I was on a roll for a while, being really on top of this but I recently got a new job that requires me to work odd hours. I work both overnights and regular day shifts, this has made it difficult for me to stick to his schedule of wet food and insulin. Recently, I have been considering rehoming him due to his medical condition. I know I haven’t kept up with his diabetes and I don’t want him to suffer. It’s impossible for me to give him wet food and insulin twice a day and be able to space it out. Has anyone encountered a similar situation and has any advice?
