I've recently changed litter box and litter. Originally I think the cat would pee outside of the litter box because it was too dirty but I've changed to a different litter. It got used to it and pooed in the litter box and most likely peed in it too. After 2-3 days I noticed that it was peeing on the carpet again like it did before I changed the litter. It still pooed in the litter box.
- It is a male cat but at such a young age I don't think its marking
- Could be stress related but nothing has changed over the past couple of days.
- His sister uses it fine pee and poops inside the box
- Could it be because its peed there prior? I've applied some enzyme cleaner to hopefully remove the smell
- Before the change it would pee and poo in the same litter box
Any help will be appreciated
