My 5 year old male cat cried out out of no where the other day while laying down. It was an awful “meow” like he was in pain. He stayed in one spot the rest of the day and we thought maybe he wasn’t feeling well. Today he’s still just sitting in one spot, not sleeping but just sitting in the same position, same spot, all day. He won’t come for treats or cat nip which is not like him at all. He’s not purring when picked up which he normally loves. He’s so young, what could be wrong? I know we will be taking him to the vet tomorrow but just wondering if anyone’s had experience with the same?
