For the past five years my family had had a three legged cat. We found her when she was a few weeks old in field, abandoned. Her hind left leg was torn up, and ended up needing to be amputated. Over the last three years she has started to get extremely close to me, and has chosen me to be her ‘person’. She comes to me when I call her, comes to me for a majority of her issues, and chooses to sleep on me any chance she gets. I love her, and I think she loves me. She’s really the first pet my family has every owned that chose me as their person. When we used to foster dogs they never chose me either. So this cat is extremely important to me. Over the past 9-ish months, she has become a lot more playful, since my brother moved out, opening more space in my room, and the ability for her to climb on my desk chair (my brother and I used to share a room). Her main ways of playing are to attack my hand, usually by jumping at it and grabbing it, and chase after random item. However, due to her physical limitations, these forms of play are often difficult, as she does not have the ability to really stand on her hind leg. Any advice would be awesome and heavily appreciated, but both me and my cat.
