I know this sounds silly, but I got this kitten a little over 2 months ago. And at first I used to fill the bowl with dry food and he'll eat whenever he's hungry. In the past week however I decided to stop free feeding him. At 7 am, I put his daily portion of the dry food on his plate. (44grams/half a cup). And then at 8 pm I'll open a pack of wet food.
He eats the dry food on a span of few hours but will finish the wet food immediately. And then come back later to look for more food on his plate.
Is this enough for him? Am I calculating his food needs wrong? I feel very anxious asking my vet, even tho she's understanding and kind, but I don't want to be judged.
