So the last 2 days I noticed my dog hasn't been eating or moving, she's just been laying down all day. There's a tight spot on her stomach, so I thought this wasn't normal at all. We take her into the vet office and they did some test (which already will cost over $1000 in cost). We were told my dog has a murmur and potentially cancer & diabetes. Which would require more test.
Now we were informed we have 24 hours to either put her down or pay 7k to treat my dog. What really made me upset is that we were told we have to pay $1080 to keep our dog for a overnight stay at the vet office or we will be reported if we take our dog home.
Someone please help, is this legal? What should I do about my dog?! I'm really scared right now and money is very tight
