Feeding schedule advice Alright, first of all, hi! I'm new to this Reddit thing so please point me in the right direction if I'm in the wrong place, and forgive my ignorance :) I just wanted to ask you for some advice. I have two female cats that are more or less a year old. They have both been sterilised. I have been treating them equally in all the possible ways and they get along well - they are not siblings but grew up together and were adopted together. The question I have is regarding food. At the advice of the adoption center, I feed them mostly with wet food that comes in preportioned bags - they get 3 per day, each one split in two bowls. At the beginning, they also had a bowl with dry food available at all times with kitten food since they were still growing. At some point though, one of them developed a bigger appetite, so I started giving them the dry food only at night before sleeping ( I tried to do it during the day, but the hungry one would get nervous during the night and keep waking me up). The hungry one still eats a big portion of the dry food as soon as I give it to them. I bought the dry food specific to sterilised cats some time ago, I guess it's better because it's less caloric than the kitten one, but she still tends to pig out with it. I am not sure how to organise their feeding schedule - the wet food is no problem, but the dry food is - I can't control how much which one of them eats during the night, but I can see the results - the pig has been developing some nice thicc cushions. Giving them less than recommended dose of the dry food makes her nervous, I suppose because she is used to a certain amount, but I'm just not sure what the best way to proceed with all this would be. Thanks in advance!!!
