Okay, so I’m embarrassed to be writing this post , but want to know if others have experienced this. Animals gravitate towards my husband. He has some special aura about him with all creatures. I surprised him with a male kitten two years ago. Every since then, they have been inseparable. Our male cat follows him everywhere and stays by the door when he leaves and greets my husband when he arrives. The cat is loving towards me but less so. Occasionally he sits by my door in the morning when I sleep in.
I bought a female cat, to give my little guy a buddy. She’s a sweetheart she was originally slightly more attached to me. But ever since living with us , she has slowly gravitated towards my husband.
This is driving me nuts! My husband didn’t even originally want the cats. I treat the cats well. Maybe I play with them slightly less, but it’s not significant. What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else experienced this?
