Could my pet have gotten carbon monoxide poisoning?

Was driving with my dog in the back seat to a local park when I received a work call and had to pull over. It wasn’t hot outside so I turned off my car and opened only the drivers-side rear window so he could get some fresh air. A huge truck pulls up behind me (around 10ft) and the driver gets out, leaving the engine running for about 20 minutes. If the wind direction was such that it blew the exhaust fumes toward the car and into the window would this have been a health hazard for me and my dog, given there was no ventilation and one window open? Or would the CO have diluted to negligible ppm in the air? No signs of stress from him either, but I would like to be cautious next time something like this happens.
