So long story short, my mom is absolutely not an animal person and never wanted any pets to begin with and my sister’s cat was thrown on her during a crazy time in our family. She is extremely neglectful towards her. When I went to visit last time the food in the cat’s bowl was literally moldy and I can’t stand to see her neglect an innocent animal like that so I told my mom I wanted to take her. Im worried about introducing the cat to my 4 other animals (2 dogs, another cat, and a bunny). I know my moms cat does fine with other cats, but don’t know how she is around dogs or bunnies. I also and really worried about my other cat bc I feel like he is mama’s boy and I would feel so devastated if he felt like I was trying to replace him or anything like that. Yes, I know I could take my mom’s cat to a shelter or try to rehome her but I couldn’t do that to my niece since it was technically my niece’s cat to begin with before all of this drama happened and I can’t do that to her. Advice please!!
