Hi I’m sorry my mother’s parakeet just passed. And while we’d love to mourn him we really need to know what caused it because she has another that shared his cage as well as two others in a different cage. They’d all been healthy and all been acting their usual selves, when my mom went to hand feed them like she does most days. When she went to the cage she noticed sprite (the parakeet) was acting odd his breathing was irregular, he refused to eat millet (his favorite treat) and he just acted generally strange. She wrapped in a towel and tried to give him some water when she was done in a minute or so he was seizing and died after that. We’re really concerned for her other birds and need to know if anyone knows what this is, thanks for your help
