My chihuahua is now 7yrs old, yesterday we noticed that his head was oddly twitching, so we took a video and showed it to the vet, he said that it could be ear mites and not distemper and gave us instructions on how to treat the mites, what he didnt say was how to treat the tremors or how we can help him with his shakey head that is slowly creeping down to his leg. All this was said over phone as we are stuck in at home due to strict quarantine restrictions. Im just concerned and wanna know if we should do something about it, massage it, or just leave it alone? He's still spunky and doesn't let the shakiness affect him but it does look uncomfortable.
