I asked my parents for a dog about 2 years ago, and they refused. I would like to try again. The problem is, they don't think I'm responsible enough. They don't want to keep the dog in the house, because it will cause a mess. But they refuse to keep it outside either because we don't have a fenced yard. My mom doesn't want to pay for the expenses of having a dog. And my dad is a dog hater, he seriously said he would kill every dog on the planet if he could. But, I want to show them I'm responsible enough. I would take care of it alone, so they wouldn't have to lift a finger. Maybe if I tell them I would keep the dog in my room... I'm stuck, I don't know what to do. Oh, one more thing. My sister has a phobia of dogs, so they themselves once said it would be good to get a dog so she stops being scared of them.
