Hello,
I have a 3 and a half year old cat and I love her to death. I've had her since she was 5 weeks old and I loved every moment of it. But I'm an international student studying in the US something came up and I have to travel back home for 4-5 months before I come back to the US. Usually I visit home for a month and just ask my friend to take care of her or hire a sitter, but this time I can't do any of that, I can't find a friend that will take care of her for 4-5 months and I can't get a sitter because I won't have my apartment and can't afford a pet hotel. I thought of taking her with me but the flight is too long, usually 25-32 hours with wait times and was told it's both dangerous for the pet and expensive. I'm so torn apart, I don't know what to do and my only option is to rehome her but deep down I know I will regret it horribly what do you guys think I should do?
