Information request from someone who has cared for a cat with FIV.

I am ready to adopt and curious about extra costs and real life experiences from anyone who has, or has cared for. cat with FIV.

Is medicine expensive, what kind of affect will it have on the cat. Do they get daily medication? Is it expensive etc.
