I’m 16, starting school soon so really trying to fix my sleep schedule but I’m having trouble doing it because my cat (1yo) always stands in front of the door meowing for me to let her in my room. This wouldn’t be a problem, except she will meow for me to let her out in a few minutes or hours. She does this at least 3 times a night. I’ve tried ignoring her but she’ll just come back later.
How can I get this to stop so I can sleep through the night? It’s not about being hungry, sometimes she’ll meow at the door and have me follow her to the kitchen where her bowl has food as if she wants me to watch her eat.
I could leave the door open but that’s about the last thing I wanna do since it’s just uncomfortable and all the bedrooms are close together and my family also makes noise pretty early in the morning. Also for more info she doesn’t really sleep at night, she sleeps from like 7am-3pm which was how I slept for weeks before (now) trying to fix it.
